Planning with purpose

Planning is important to all of us. The days go better when we have a plan. During our Christmas break, I wasn't doing my part of planning. I wasn't feeling well. I was sleeping in until you kids woke me up. Once I got better, we have been sticking to a plan. I have to have my quiet time with my Lord and Savior. I want to have a deeper relationship with Him that comes through prayer and reading His word. This is my priority in life. You notice a difference in our days when I get up early to spend time with Him.
I made a decision to join an accountability group through Inspired to Action. It is called Maximize Your Mornings. I am joining my friends for accountability in intentional and purposed planning. Accountability is important. When you are seeking for a friend, I encourage you to find ones who will help keep you accountable. Find friends who will encourage you to seek the Savior daily, be a better spouse, and be a better parent.
From January 16th - April 15th, I am being challenged to wake up early, study God's word, pray, exercise, and plan with purpose.
I am using the Bible study called Run To Him. I am "studying thirteen different Psalms over the next few months. I pray that the Lord uses it to challenge me to diligently run to Him in spite of our ever-changing emotions. Each day I will look for three different aspects from the text: Truths, Promises, and Commands -- each day digging deeper into a new layer of Scripture."
We are all exercising together. We are following a plan called C25K. We are running 3 times a week together. Madi and Hunter, you two are doing great! Macy, I know it's hard to run in heels. You might want to wear tennis shoes and ditch your fancy boots when we run. Parker and Cooper, you are fast! I can't keep up with you.
Planning is the part that is hardest for me. Consistently following a plan of cleaning, laundry, dishes, setting clothes out for the next day, and 15 minute clean-up before bed is necessary for us all. We can have time to do the things we love when we are consistent with the daily tasks that must be done to maintain order and sanity. I did find that app called My Home Routines . It has been a very helpful tool  for all of us. Each of us has a morning and evening routine to follow. You all quickly do your tasks so you can press your task and get a star. I am able to see what needs to be done for our schooling as well as basic housekeeping.
I pray that you all will plan with purpose. I pray that you will live intentionally. Seek God. Think eternally. Plan everything to the centrality of Christ
