We went camping this weekend. We had no clue where we were headed. We knew we would be near some jeep trails in the Anza Borrego State Park. We went with the Meyers and Leutys. We found ourselves in the middle of nowhere. We arrived Friday morning and enjoyed swimming in the pool and going on bike rides. The weather was clear and hot! Since our kids were the only kids in the park, they had complementary push up ice cream. The campgrounds main attraction was lake. This lake was full of fish. The kids caught at least 100 fish (catch and release). This was such a fun place for kids to explore. We went on two jeep trails. One of the trails led us to a creek that was flowing with clear beautiful water. We gathered rocks for our rock study. We were in awe at the night sky. We could see the stars better than we have ever seen them before. The Milky Way was stretched throughout the entire night sky. This was such a great trip. I look forward to traveling in this direction again (ONLY IN THE WINTER).
