Trying to be more responsible, I chose to follow Dr. Sears alternative immunization schedule. After each immunization, Cooper got a rash. Each time he had a similar reaction that occured faster than the previous one. So far, the allergist cannot determine to what part of the immunization he is allergic. She has tested him and he is allergic to eggs. She did say that if the boys are truly identical, Parker will have the allergy as well. We proceded with the immunizations for Parker and he just developed a rash. So, we will be taking more trips to the Doctor. They will now begin to give the immunizations a little at a time and monitor the boys. This has to be done at the hospital because they have a crash cart and an emergency room. That's great.

There is an egg base in DPT? The only shot I was aware of having eggs was MMR. They must have changed the bases since we had Adeline vaccinated. I'll have to remember that when she needs boosters.
