We finally get to plan our summer schedule. I enjoy relaxing during the summer, but I still like to make a schedule or time gets away. I have made a daily schedule and a weekly schedule. This is a general schedule so that we can take it easy and have fun. Each morning we will have an outdoor fun time. I will teach the kids how to jumprope and skate. We will have wheelbarrow and crabwalk races. We will play relay races and baseball. We are going to have calendar time each day, practice high frequency words and counting with our 100's chart. We will continue our Bible Study. We have been using
The Narrow Way by Pearables. We are going to begin a chapter book series that we will read each day and hopefully finish at the end of the Summer. We will have chore training everyday as we work towards being able to do more chores during the school year. I use Motivated Moms schedule to complete our daily chores. I will be giving our kids more responsibilites off of that schedule.
Each day we will have special activities. On Monday we will have piano lessons and fly kites. Tuesday we will be drawing and swiming at Nana's house. Wednesday we will have Karate lessons and work on Manners. Thursday we will have my sister and her kids over for cooking, learning hymns, Home Economics lessons from Pearables, and a family outreach activity. We will end this day with our Family Movie night. Friday we will learn to braid and knot, do a craft, and look at the stars. We will end this day with our Family Fun activity. Saturday, my husband with work with our son on his responsibility lesson from Pearables.
All of this will stay as our set schedule unless we are camping or on vacation.

I don't see bowling with Shannon and Michael on the list. This activity is essential for hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills, math skills and social skills. it's an important part of their summer. Plus, this activity is good for Michael and I as well, we could use the practice :)
We are flexible. Just call anytime.:)
It's so great to be able to sit down and read about what is going on with you and your family. Life seems to be so busy and we have a tendency to forget the important things like family. God has truly blessed you. Keep us the great work. I'm really impressed!!! Love you guys. Gail
