Baby Dedication

On Mother's Day, we dedicated our babies to the Lord. We make a committment to raise our children according to the Bible. We dedicate them to be used of Him and for Him. We promise to be faithful stewards of the gifts he has given us. Before the dedication took place, our other children and our friends children sang a song called "Praise You". The words to this song are so good. I was hoping to put the video clip in this post, but I haven't figured out how. So, Here are the words.

From the earth to the sky,
I'm the apple of your eye
You created my form,
and knew me long before I was born

the Father, the Son and Spirit of God.

As I watched my kids singing and listened to what they were saying, I was reminded how important they are to Christ and how my responsibility to be a godly mom is huge. They were made to praise Christ and right now in their lives, they depend on me to make that happen. We need to be praising God as a family in everything here on earth. That way, we will be prepared to praise Him when we meet Him face to face.
