I am brand new to blogging.This is my first week.I am participating in the 2008 Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom. This is my party post! If you are a party participant come on in and enjoy it!
I am a wife and mother of 5. I have a 6,4, and 2 year old, and 9 week old twins. My 6 year old had brain cancer at the age of 3 and is now in remission. For now I will be blogging all about our past 3 years. I recently decided to homeschool. I used to be a first grade teacher and I look forward to the many adventures we will have. I enjoy spending time with family, camping, jeep rides, studying my Bible, scrapbooking, reading, sewing, healthy cooking, skiing, photography and so much more. Since I am new to this, you never know what may pop-up on my blog so stop by often! I don't know where this will take me.
About my blog - I plan to update my blog often. I will blog about being a Christian wife and mommy. I am also interested in healthy cooking and will post recipes, stories about my Madi and the experience of being a Mom of 5! Who knows what else on here as well!
I have an idea of a line of hair for girls with Cancer. Maybe I can have an opportunity to do this on my blog.
I look forward to seeing new blogs and winning prizes. My favorite prize in this party is #1 - the Rocking Horse from a Rocking Horse to Love.

Hi! I am a homeschooling mother of 5 - ages 8, 5 (almost 6), 4, 2, and 2 months. So, I also have one entering first grade next year!
My 4 year old has food allergies, so we are also always experimenting with recipes. Did you know you can use a banana instead of an egg in recipes, and the texture works. It has to be a recipe that is good with banana flavoring, though. It works great with pancakes...better than the regular ones! :)
