To my children. In our daily living, may we do everything to the centrality of CHRIST!

The eyes
When I stepped into the PICU to see Madi after her third brain tumor resection surgery, I noticed her eyes moving back and forth. I immediately knew something wasn't right. After talking with her, I realized she had double vision. The brain surgeon gave us hope that day when he told us she may be fine once the swelling decreased. Four years later we continue to visit the opthamologist. The double vision decreases every doctor visit. We continue to give thanks for her visual improvement. But, these eyes are part of our earthly container which will wither and fade away. The eyes of our heart will last for eternity. I pray for the spiritual eyes of our children. I pray that none of them will have double vision. "I pray that the eyes of (their) heart may be enlightened, so that (they) may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe."
