To my children. In our daily living, may we do everything to the centrality of CHRIST!

Bearing One Another's Burdens
The duties of parenting, homeschooling, managing a home, as well as minister at church can sometimes feel overwhelming. Last year, I spent much time "catching up" on the house work. This year it is a goal of our family to be "not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord" (Rom. 12:11). We want to "bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ". (Galatians 6:2) God's word tells us of the importance of work and service. Chores are one way to teach our responsibility and to influence them to have a servants' heart and set aside their own desires. Since January 1st, I have been using the Managers of their Chores book to set up a chore system for our family. The way we work together as a family is wonderful. Our load is light when we work together. I am so thankful for these ideas and pray that our time spent on housework will be more efficient.
